The temple Halebeedu is a sculptural extravaganza. The wall of Halebeedu temple consist of antique carves of Hindu god and goddesses, sages, antique carve of birds, animals. Halebeedu is the ancient capital of Hoysalas and the antique carves shows the lifestyle of Hoysala kings.

The base of the temple is stylish star shaped with a beautiful lawn, adding beauty to the spot. There is also a museum at Halebeedu which is under Archeological department and maintained by them. The museum of Halebeedu temple complex consists of unique statues, idols and different attractive sculptures.
