'India will have to bowl well to win the one-day or T-20′ -Wasim Akram

India

India will be more then happy to move on from a disastrous test series. Its now a new team the only players who will be the same are the captain Dhoni and 3 others .Dravid is in form after back to back centuries in test, he will have the responsibility to stay at one end and score at run a ball . The openers have done well in the practice games raising hopes that will happen again.Rohit Sharma had an incredible west indies tour showing form in the practice matches too ,Virat Kohli has been excellent for India in the past 1 year or so therefore expectation will be higher from him.Raina has had an awful England tour till now but we all know what he is capable in T-20′s.Praveen kumar showed what he can do in the english condition so he is one of the biggest threat for the english.Varun Aron provides pace as he promises to be teh next big thing in Indian cricket .R vinay Kumar has done well in the IPL but his good showing has never transpired to the international level,R Ashwin is a specialist in T-20 and can even open the bowling.Amit Mishra failed too take wickets but he was surely dangerous.India will want to win this T-20 against the champions who whitewashed them in the test series.Every Indian has a gut feeling that India will win but i think the same too that India might just pull this one off.

England

New captain new fromat but in this format too they are the world champions.England have rested Kevin Pietersen for the upcoming ODI series India and called up Durham allrounder Ben Stokes.Pietersen, who was the highest scorer in the Test series against India, has been left out as part of the selectors' ongoing policy of 'managing player workloads'. While Pietersen has recovered his Test form in fine style, his one-day returns have been less productive – just two half-centuries since November 2008.there are maiden Twenty20 call-ups for Somerset wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler and Nottinghamshire opener Alex Hales. Buttler has not actually had as productive a season as last year in Twenty20, but has showcased enough potential to step in for the injured Luke Wright. The English selector have decided to rest some of the key players who demolished the Indians and have instead gone for explosive youngsters. Even though they have won the Test series but the Indian's were once champion of this format too.The English team will be very on confidence with every department doing well they will want to win this one too.
