Just a week after the release of his movie Mr. Duplicate, Prajwal Devaraj has released another film. Mr. Duplicate has receive average response from viewers. But his latest movie Bhadra, which features him in a new look, is engaging and sure to impress the movie buffs.
Director Mahesh Rao's film Bhadra is action extravaganza and it has enough elements to give action hero image to romantic hero Prajwal. His acting is the major attraction of the movie. Ravi Varma and Thriller Manju's fights, Sri Guru's music, Jai Anand's camera work and Sharan-Bullet Prakash's comedy are the other highlights of the film.
Bhadra is a remake of hit Telugu movie Ranam starring Gopichand and Kamna Jethmalani. This Kannada version is a nothing but frame to frame copy of the orginal, but the director has made some changes to suit the taste of local audience. There is nothing special about the story, but Mahesh Rao has made it interesting by including entertaining values. The family sentiments and comedy are quite impressive in this film.
Bhadra (Prajwal Devaraj) is energetic guy from a village and he goes to city to pursue higher studies. He falls in love with his classmate Kavya (Daisy Shah), who is the sister of a mafia don named Naga (Sampath). But he inadvertently enters into a row with the gang members of Naga. The rest of the story is all about how he resorts to a mind game on Naga to win his sister.
Chocolate boy Prajwal Devaraj has managed to deliver a convincing performance in the action scenes. He is also good in dialogue delivery, dance and comedy sequences. Daisy Shah looks good in dance sequences. As a villain, Sampath has delivered a convincing act. Sharan and Bullet Prakash's comic moments add to the beauty of the film Bhadra. MN Lakshmi Devi and others have also done justice to their respective roles.
The movie Bhadra has sound technical values and Ravi Varma and Thriller Manju choreographed action scenes are the major attraction of them. Sri Guru has used the tunes from the original and the songs like 'Aa Chinna....' and 'Madanaari Baale... are interesting to listen. Jai Anand's camera work is another plus point of the movie.
In a nutshell, Prajwal Devaraj's latest movie Bhadra is engaging and entertaining film, which can be watched the members of a family. Don't miss to watch it if you have not seen the original.
