It's now 6 in a row for India

The Sydney Test has come to an end and India have lost by an innings and 68 runs. This is India's 6th straight loss outside the sub-continent in the past seven months. This has been the worst performance from India overseas since the turn of the century. They are starting to look like the Indian test team of the 1990s who struggled to get going on foreign soil.

MS Dhoni's captaincy in foreign tours is bound to come under scanner after India's poor showing in the last few months. India performed very well in Australia and England under Sourav Ganguly. MS Dhoni has a wonderful record at home, however, the team has been found wanting under him abroad.

Nothing clicked for India in this Test match, they were yet again let down by their batting, the bowling was also not good enough. The memories of the whitewash in England might be already haunting the minds of the Indian players now. They need to take some drastic steps to ensure this does not turn out to be another whitewash.
