Vijay Dinakar, a student of R V College has proved that cycle is a faster mode of journey than bike or bus and metro. To do it he used his geared Hercules Cycle for 20 kms to reach his college ahead of those who travelled by 150 CC Pulsar Motorbike and bus and metro combination for reaching the College. Dinakar took 60 minutes, the motorbike reached in 80 minutes and the bus/metro combination took full 120 minutes. Residents of Bangalore should think about this experiment and help the city to save environment and save money apart from doing a good physical exercise by cycling.
