First it was with helmets for motorbike riders and now it is coming for the persons sitting in the front seats in vehicles, specially cars and LMVs. Fastening of seat belts is going to be made mandatory from February 1st and the offender will be fined Rs. 100/- on the spot. This is being done for the safety as the volume of traffic is increasing day by day. How do the Bangolereans view this decision as a safety drive of Police? Would people be cooperating and implementing it in letter and spirit?
