BBMP is supposed to keep the roads in Bangalore neat and clean. A resident of Sanjay Nagar, a 67 years old cancer patient is today forced to clean 30 feet road in front of her house as the BBMP authorities stopped this facility there. Even the Textile Minister of the state living in the neighbourhood could not help her. A State is supposed to look after the interests of the senior citizens and women. Here a senior citizen, a woman suffering from cancer who is struggling for life, is suffering from the apathy of BBMP. KSR members may react to this disturbing news from Bangalore.
