A woman committed suicide at her residence at Hegganahalli Main Road by hanging herself. Police was informed but they approached the venue from three different police stations. They could not decide which police station will register the case because of the jurisdiction issue. The woman hanged herself around 9 am but the police, though appeared on the scene from three different place, could not decide which one will register the case till late afternoon. The body was finally taken in an ambulance at 4 pm by Tavarekere station. A dead person had to wait because of the apathetic attitude of the police. Had there been a major law and order situation at that place, it would have proved to be disastrous. ISC members may express their views.
