Karnataka holiday tomorrow

When I searched for the keyword "Karnataka holiday" in Google today, the 'Google suggest' feature gave me an interesting suggestion: "Karnataka holiday tomorrow". I was surprised to know that there are so many people searching for this weired term - holiday tomorrow !

I was thinking about the rationale behind searching for tomorrow's holiday in Google. As an experienced internet guy, I knew that Google and other search engines take several days to index any web content and by the time they find the web content that talk about the 'Karnataka holiday tomorrow' phrase, the tomorrow would have already passed.

However, after a bit of research, I learnt few things. The term 'tomorrow' really make sense for smart search engines like Google. Google is capable of picking up content from some 'authentic sites' within few hours after publishing the content.So, if an authentic site like the Karnataka government website publish an announcement that tomorrow is a holiday in Karnataka, search engines can pick up that information and show in search results. So, those ignorant people can find what exactly what they need, while experience internet geeks like me will be still searching for complicated phrases like 'Karnataka holidays for the year 2010' !
