The famous temple of lord Krishna in Udupi has got new paryaya seer on 18.01.2010.

Lakshmivara Tirtha Swamiji of Shiroor Math is the new paryaya seer for Udupi krishna temple. He adcended the Paryaya peetha for the third time on Monday.

Earlier he has acended as paryaya peetha from (1978-80)and for the seond time from(1994-96).

Lakshmivara Tirtha Swamijiwas born to Vittala Acharya and Kusumamma Acharya couples on June 8, 1964 at Madamakki village in Kundapur taluk of Udupi district.

Paryaya seer Lakshmivara Tirtha Swamiji is well known for decorating Lord Krishna in various types, other than this he is interested in swimming, collecting antiques, karate, and playing musical instruments.
