This article gives information on the location of Dandeli and whom to contact at the Dandeli City Council office.

Dandeli is a small city located in the northern region of the State of Karnataka in South India. This region is called the district of Uttara Kannada. Dandeli is located in the Western Ghats and is very close to another popular tourist hub, Goa.

Due to its location in the Western Ghats, the 8.5 Sq.Kms that Dandeli covers has plenty of greenery. The lush landscape forms a natural home to numerous wildlife, reptiles, exotic birds and beautiful flora. Their thirst is quenched by the River Kali and its tributaries, Kaneri and Nagajhari.
