Amrita School of Engineering which is affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham which was established Under Section 3 of UGC Act of 1956.

Eligibility for B.Tech at Amrita School of Engineering at Bangalore

Age : Candidate who desires to apply should have born on or after 1st July of 1989.
Educational qualifications :The candidate should have passed his final examination of 10+2 or Class XII or equivalent and the marks scored should not less than 60% separately in Mathematics, Physics and in Chemistry
OR
The candidate must have completed his three years Diploma in Engineering with 60% as minimum, the institution where he has studied should be recognized by the State Board of Technical Education.

Even candidates who have appeared for their examinations as mentioned above in the year April / May 2010 can also apply, but the minimum marks mentioned above is the main criteria.

The application form costs Rs.850/-, one can receive by paying through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.

Candidates can also have applications in selected banks like Axis Bank, Dhanalakshmi Bank and State Bank of Hyderabad.
