Karnataka is becoming a tourist attraction, thanks to the young population migrating to cities like Bangalore and Mysore from other states. As a result, places like Jog Falls, Honnemaradu, Kodachadri and other places in the Western Ghats/Malnad region are seeing an increasing influx of tourists in the recent years.

We are providing a homestay 20 kms from Jog Falls, secluded in the thick forests of the Sharavathi backwater. GundiMane is a very neat accomodation with all the modern amenities. GundiMane Home Stay, is a plantation house situated on top of a hill facing acres of green areca plantation. It belongs to the the Gundi family of 3 brothers, Ganapathi Rao, Vinayaka Rao and Lakshminarayan. It is managed by the oldest among them, Ganapathi Rao who stays at the estate along with his wife. GundiMane has a built up area of 40sqs with all amenities such as airy and spacious living, dining hall, along with 3 bedrooms and sit-outs to enjoy the scenic beauty of this spot. Children up to 5 years can stay free.

Food at Gundimane: Authentic Havyaka (a clan of Brahmins to which the owners belong) vegetarian food is served. Most of the vegetables used would be grown locally and hence organic in nature. Breakfast is charged at Rs.60 and Lunch & Dinner at Rs.90/- per person.

Single Occupancy Rs. 500/- per day
For Extra Bed Rs. 250/- per day

*The room with attached bathroom costs Rs.200 extra.

1. You need to pay 100% of the room-rent at the time of booking. Food cost (if any) should be paid at the time of checking out.

2. Check in Time is 2 p.m. / Check out Time is 12 noon.
