Mahima Ranga Vittala Temple is one of the temples near Shivaganga Hill Temple. This is also one of the tourist spots one can visit and have a picnic spot. This is located in a rural area.

Mahima Ranga Vittala Temple is a very small temple located in the outskirts near Shivaganga Temple. 3 kilometer from Shivaganga Temple is this Mahima Ranga Vittala Temple. Lord Panduranga is the diety here. This temple is located in a cool and peaceful environment. The place being a rural locality, there are many fields and big nilgiri and other tress grows with lot of hills surrounded. Infact the temple is itself located on the top of the hill. Many number of steps are carved in a very neat way giving way to the temple. Both sides of the hill steps are surrounded by greenery. It would be a great spot for picnic where one can have good fun and even prepare snacks and can also be served as the place is quite big. At the top of the hill is the small temple with peaceful presence and spiritual environment with the idol of Lord Mahima Ranga Vittala. Although this temple is not a very highly identified temple, with lot of visitors, this can become of the next tourist spots after Shivaganga temple.

Surrounded by the temple is the hill and one can see the whole town with large trees, hills and fields with greenary.

How to reach Mahima Ranga Vittala Temple : It is located around 70 kms from Bangalore via Tumkur Road. Take the Tumkur Road and on the way to Dobaspet, well before and on the way to Dobestpet is a big arch with Mahima Ranga Statue. A left turn towards the arch with 2 kilometers leads to the temple. Make sure to use the National Highway 4 as the road condition is extremely good and you will reach within a short span of time.
