Kudala Sangama is the
birth place of Lord Basavanna
, the founder of Lingayat faith. Kudala Sangama is one of the most popular pilgrimage place in karnataka. Kudala Sangama is located 15 km away from the Almatti Dam that is located in Karnataka state's Bagalkot district.

is the place where the pilgrimage, Kudala Sangama located. An interesting thing to be admired in Kudala Sangama temple is that, the sangamam of both the river leads to another pilgrim center Srisaila in state of Andhra Pradesh by flowing towards east.
Kudala Sangama is not only the birth place of Basavanna, the founder of Lingayat faith, also the holy samathi of Basavanna known as Aikya Mantapa is situated here. Along with this Holy samathi is the Linga which is believed to be as self originated. Swayambhu, the self originated Linga is the most peculiar thing in this temple.

Some interesting places to round around in this temple are Aikya linga of Basaveshwara, Basava Dharma Peetha's Mahamane Campus, the colossal Sabha Bhavana and the Poojavana with neat paths amidst trees, a mini forest.

has a congregation of sculptures related to history of Karnataka state and Basavanna. The ashrama for the visitors of Kudala Sangama also has a facility to stay. The auditorium of Kudala Sangama is shaped with a dome finish in its centre. The huge grey finish of the dome in the centre of this auditorium gives a mejestic look to the Kudla Sangama. The auditorium of Kudala Sangama has the historic rememberance with the four exquisite doorways that is name after Gangambike, Nilambike, Channabasavanna and Akka Nagamma.
