4 to 5 normal size Boiled (Roughly smashed)
2 Big Onions (Finelly Chooped)
1 Big Tomato (Chopped)
2 Green Chillies (Cut Vertically)
1 ½ tsp Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
2 Table Spoon Oil
¼ Tea Spoon Turmeric
2 Cups Water

2 Tea Spoon milk powder also if required
Saagu Potato - Karnataka Style Recipe Preparation Method:
Take a non stick pan and put the oil in it. Heat it and fry mustard and jeera. (For seasoning)
Now fry the chillies and onions well till it gets the color of golden brown.
Put the tomatoes in this fry and let it till it cooks well.
Mix the chilli powder, turmeric and salt and fry for 2 minutes.
Now the mashed potatoes are to be added to the ingredients in the kadai and stir it well.
Then pour the cup of water to it and let it to boil completely. Bring it to the consitency like the masala.
The Saagu Potato - Karnataka Style dish is now ready to serve. Before you serve, add the seasoning contents like cream or milk powder and corriander and also the fried mustard and jeera.
After garnishing the Saagu Potato - Karnataka Style dish serve it hot with chapathi or puri or roti.
