Karnataka state was formed in the year 1973 which a mass area of around two lakhs square kilometres, has about 30 districts. The state is well known for its culture and heritage which was ruled by the kings in the history. Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka which is one of the metro cities in India. Although a mix of languages are spoken in Karnataka, Kannada takes the lead.

Here are a few simple steps to be followed to learn Kannada:-
1. To start with buy a book of Aksharamala-Kannada Alphabets with English translation and start reading it. You can spend some time with a knowledgeable person to get perfection.
2. Once you are familiar with alphabets, you can read children comic books like chandamama, champak with short stories and also the first standard books which will give you clear picture to read sentences.
3. Now you can start reading magazines, newspapers slowly and steadily you will pick up the language.
