Amareshwara temple is one of the best temple in Lingasguru taluku.Generally Amareshara temple is known as Gurugunta Amareshwara.

Lord Sri Amareshawar Temple

Lord Sri Amareshwara Temple is situated in Devarabhupur village which is 18 kilo meters away from Linagsuru Taluku,Raichur District.Generally it is know as Gurugunta Amareshwara.

Inside the Lord Sri Amareshawar Temple one Shivalinga Moorthy(idol) is there. And Beside main temple one small well is there.People used to call small well as 'GADAGI BHAVI".From well water enters the main temple and reaches to shivalinga and then to pool (called Honda in Kannada) where people used to take pool water as theertha.

Amareshwara Temple is one of the attractive temple of Lingasuguru Taluku.
Annual fair will be held in the month of Phalguna and the day of Holi/Kamana Hunnime/Pournami.

Fair will be there for nearly one month. Around six to eight number of drama companies take role in in fair.

How to reach Lord Sri Amareshawar Temple

Lord Sri Amareshwara temple is located 18 kilo meters away from lingasguru in State Highway Srirangapattana to Beedar bus route.

Direct NEKRTC (north east karnataka road transport corporation, formerly ksrtc) Buses and private taxies,tempos,mini buses are there from Lingasugru
Bus Station during day time (From 8AM to 5PM). Speciall buses will be there during anuual fair.
