KBITS can be abbreviated as Karnataka Biotechnology & Information Technology Services for year 2011-12. KBITS is conduction Job Oriented Post Graduate Diploma Programme which is scheduled to commence from 25th August 2011. KBITS promotes the growth of IT & Biotech companies by way of organizing, sponsoring and participating in National/International Workshops, Conferences, Exhibitions etc.,

Admissions for Job Oriented Post Graduate Diploma Programme devised depending on the needs of biotech-industry today, at the Biotechnology Biotechnology Finishing Schools (BFTS)

This is a very unique initiative in India with enhanced placement opportunities in Biotech Sector launched by Government of Karnataka. The course is offered in different specializations in 12 well known institutions across the state.

The selection will be done through Online Entrance Test – KBAT, which will be followed by an interview at Bangalore.

Last date for submission of Online Application : 10th August 2011

Online Entrance Test : 13th & 14th August 2011

Results on the Online test will be declared on : 15th August 2011.

Interview Place : Bangalore
Interview Date: 25th August 2011 onwards.

Course commencement : 25th August 2011.
