How to remove Karnataka LPG gas connection suspension

LPG-The Government of Karnataka(Food, Civil supplies and consumer affairs)has brought the system of checking the misuse of gas cylinders. This misuse of LPG cylinders in Karnataka may be done by some of the dealers or middle man who are not at all in picture. The general consumers who are running from District commissioner office to the dealers office and trying to get information on solving the issues.

What are the documents checked while the LPG gas cylinder checking

Firstly, the documents requested by the authorities are:-
1. Ration card number
2. Electricity bill
3. Consumer number along with bill.

Points to be remembered while the LPG cylinder checking by the authorities

1. The authorities have requested for Ration card and electricity bill, but some for some consumers in Mysore the ration cards are yet to be issued by the department. Hence they can provide the electricity bill.

2. There are instances where the electricity bill is same for more than 5 to 6 houses when they get a rented houses are owned by a single owner. He has taken a single connection for electricity which is split for these five to six houses. Hence when they submit the same. The message from the Food, civil supplies and consumer affairs authority shows a message that there are more than one connection related to this RR number leading to suspension of the connection.

Hence when such documents are to be submitted please note that each house has a ration card number, that can be provided as proof of identity and information to the authorities. The LPG connection will be continued but will be verified at a later stage.

The official website to know about the LPG cylinders checking by Karnataka Govt is, www.ahara.kar.nic in and provide the electricity bill, ration card details by scanning the same information in black and white with low resolution. The file should be less than 200KB only. You will get an acknowledgement for the submission.
