When will the flower show in Lalbagh Botanical garden, Bangalore begin? The most awaited Bangalore Lalbagh Botanical garden flower show will begin on 5th August. Flower shows in Lalbagh, Bangalore are being organized by Department of Horticulture, Bangalore and Mysore horticultural society since 1922.

The Lalbagh flower shows are organized twice a year - during Independence day(15 th August) and republic day(26th January). Every year the flower show in Botanical garden, Bangalore will be based on a theme which has national significance. The theme of 2011 flower show in Lalbagh botanical garden, Bangalore is peace and unity. A 20 feet replica of Lotus temple in Delhi and the Konark wheel are the main attractions of the flower show in Lalbagh Botanical garden, Bangalore this year. The lotus temple structure is made with tuberose, carnation & roses. Around 40 varieties of rare flowers from different places in India will be on display. The flower show will be over on August 15.

1. There are 4 gates to Lalbagh Botanical Garden. Entry fees for LAlbagh Botanical garden during flower show 2011, for 4 wheelers, 2 wheelers & bicycles will be only through Gate 2. (Double road entrance).

2. Timings of Lalbagh flower show 2011 and the Entry tickets will be issued from 9 am to 6 pm at all entrances during the Lalbagh flower show 2011.

4. No food packets are allowed inside the garden. Location of Food courts at Lalbagh during Flower show 2011 are arranged at Gate 3( Siddapura gate).
