These tips helps you in not only reducing electricity, bill, if you follow these tips you will become part of the globe in conserving Energy.


Energy saving Tips in Home/Office



Energy is precious.We should use the electricity very wisely. It is responsibility of every one to use the electricity in proper way.
Here some of the tips for saving electricity in home/office and that too in reducing electric bill.

1.Do not keep refrigerator door open.

2.Don't put warm or heated dishes/food directly into the refrigerator.
After heating put it outside to cool down the dishes.than put it inside the refrigerator.

3.Use Energy Efficient i.e. Star rated Electrical or electronic Equipments (Television, Refrigerator,Washing Machine, Heater,Electric cooker etc), . See the stars on the electrical equipments. There will be maximum 5 stars. If number of stars are more, it means it will consume less energy for same capacity of normal equipments.

4.Use CFL (Compact flourscent lamp) instead of incandescent lamps.As CFL lamps consume 4 times less energy compared to incandescent lamps. CFL lamps also have long lief than incandescent lamps.

4.Avoid decorative lights, or use minimum decorative lights if required.

5.Switch off lights/fans/appliances when not in use.

6.Avoid using electric lamps during day time.

7.Use solar water heaters to save electricity as well as to reduce electric bill.

8.Switch off the main button after shutting down Personal Computer system (CPU as well as Monitor's power control switch).

9.Switch off the Television after switching off from remote control.

10.Always keep the doors closed of Air-Conditioned rooms. Use automatic closing (spring action)doors for Air-Conditioned rooms.
