Home remedies for constipation
Constipation is one of the serious problems. Constipation is the disturbance caused to the digestive tract. Here the bowel movement is not proper.This condition cannot be neglected since this problem in severe cases may cause colon cancer.Since it is the most common disease of the digestive disorders in all the age groups. Do's and Don'ts for Constipation
1. Faulty dietary life style is the key problem causing Constipation. So be a little careful. Change your habits. Do lot of physical activities like cleaning,shopping,walking,swimming,all work that includes more physical activity. This not only reduces constipation,but also cuts down those extra calories.
2.Drink lots of water. it is said that you must drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. Its about 2.5 liters of water each day!
3.Eat lots of bananas that too big ones. These increase your bowel movements.
4. Include lot of fiber rich food items like oats,Ispagulla etc. Ispagulla is a very effective one. Soak Ispagulla 5 to 10 minutes in water. Later if you drink before going to bed,it is a highly effective remedy.
5. Take two or three oranges before going to bed and also in the early morning. People who are more prone to cold, please take doctor's suggestion before eating oranges in the early morning. But orange is an effective fruit curing Constipation.
6.Another fruit that contains high roughage is Guava. If you eat along with seeds,then you can cure constipation effectively.
7.Raisins should be soaked for 24 to 48 hours. This will make them swell to the original size of the grapes. They should be eaten early in the morning, along with the water in which they have been soaked. This has also proved to cure constipation.
8. Papaya is another fruit which cures constipation. Eat few pieces of papaya after breakfast.
9. Vegetables are the enemies to Constipation. So include lot of vegetables in your regular diet.
10. Take warm water add two drops of lime water, add 1 Tsp of honey,salt and drink it in the early morning.
11. Drink more of warm water.
12. Choose a natural lifestyle. Accustom simple dietary habits. More of artificial things entering your life, you go near diseases easily. Do not eat more fried items, out side food, cut fruits,preserved foods like fruit juices made of artificial colors etc. This may cause severe problems apart from Constipation.
