This being the temple of anjaneya or hanumantha was built by late Kengal Hanumanthaih! Hence the place being called as Hanumanthanagar is one of the reason. Also, because, near the Anjaneya temple on top there is a very big statue of Rama and Hanuman hugging together that is 9 meter long is located at the top of the hill, hence the name of this famous hill is Ramanjaneya Gudda.
