Story of the film Kamannana Makkaulu:

Kamanna acting as a thief adopts two sons, naming them Ramanna and Kittanna. They follow the footprints of the father like learning the tricks of theft. All the three together flourish in their business of theft.

The story of Kamannana Makkalu moves around the lives of these three thieves who understand their mistakes and try to change their lives so as to earn in a legal way by hard work. They buy a truck and start travelling to long distances. In the middle of their journey amidst the forest, the truck had some problem. At that time, they get the shelter in Kanaka's house who stayed with her father. They tried to solve the problems faced by Kanaka that she had to undergo from the head of the village and succeeded in their attempt.

All the three settle in the same village and cultivated lands. Ramanna over a period of time loves a beautiful girl who is the daughter of the village head and marries her. The father is not aware of this marriage. Finally in the climax with a surprise for the audience which you will enjoy watching. The movie ends with the unity of the lovers.
