Director Pradeep Raj's latest Kannada film Kirataka is a remake of Tamil hit flick Kalavani. This film is sort of good but it has some lengthy scenes when compared to the original Tamil movie flick. If these scenes were properly trimmed and cut during the edition part, the film would have been even more better and nice to watch!
Kannada Movie Kirataka is a romantic comedy, where the lead actor or hero is Yash in a totally new look. Infact he looks hot and great! Kannada Actor Yash's energetic performance is the major point of the movie. Kannada Music Director V Manohar's music, R Selva's cinematography, dialogues, costumes are some of the plus points to the movie.
The Kannada movie Kiraathaka is a love story of a simply roaming guy Yash. The Director looks like he has faced lot of difficulties,struggles and confusion in maintaining the movie with some really unwanted scenes. This looks like as though the Director is telling a story to small kids explaining with lot of details!
Nandisha (Kannada Actor Yash), who is always called Kirataka, is a roaming guy with a village back ground,is a tormentor with his gang. His father (Kannada Movies Director TS Nagabharana),lives in the country Dubai, will be helping his mother (Kannada Actress Tara)by sending money. Nandisha who is a Kiraathaka and porki cleverly snatches money from his mother and spends it for all the bad habits like Smoking,Drinking etc.Nandisha(Kannada Actor Yash) deeply falls in love with Nethra (Kannada Actress Oviya), whose brother lives in a nearby small village that has a very strong rivalry to the village where Nandisha lives.
The story is all about how this Nandisha or Kirathaka manages and tackles to get his love Nethra. Film revolves around this matter.
Cast Performance :
Kannada Actor Yash spectacularly catches the audience in his new style and mannerism! Kannada Actor Yash has also done a great job with his dialogue delivery style and new mannerism in his dance.
Kannda Actress Oviya, who has now played the same role as in the original tamil flick! She looks hot,sexy and beautiful.
As the mother of Kannada Actor Yash, Kannada Actress Tara has done justice to her role with innocence and as a caring mother!TS Nagabharana, Sankesh Kashi and Daniel George are also good in their respective roles.
Coming to music Kannada Music Director V Manohar's music is one of the head lead in the movie. His compositions like 'Kendavare Hoove...', 'Dankanaka...' and 'Dama Damma...' are the major high lights in the movie.
Selva has done his job well. The scenes captured in villages of Mandya are damn beautiful!Art direction, costume, make up and editing are okay.
Overall,Kannada movie Kirataka it is a spectacular love story, which can be watched once. Nice time pass and entertaining movie.May be it will also be a stress buster for you!
