Fashion Technology Admission for Year 2011-12 at NIFT Bangalore

National Institute of Fashion Technology is a Fashion Technology Institute. Fashion Technology teaches about fashion designing of garments and its other technologies involved in Garment making Industry. One can look for careers in Garment field and can also start a boutique of their own with these courses. NIFT also offers evening courses in Fashion Technology which also helps for working people to join a equip themselves with Fashion Technology.

The list of courses which are offered by NIFT for admission are listed below. The number of seats available for admissions are 30.

1. Fashion & Clothing Technology
2. Clothing Production Technology
3. Garment Export Merchandising Management
4. Fashion Retail Management
5. Fashion Integration & Marketing Application for Textiles
6. Industrial Pattern Making
7. Fashion Art & Illustration
8. Design & Pattern Making for Ethnic Apparel
9. Fashion Styling & Photography
10. Multimedia & Web Design.

Eligibility :
For courses from Sl. No:3, 4, 9 & 10, Graduation in any discipline.
For Courses from Sl. No. 1, 2, 5, 7 & 8, minimum Plus two/PUC.
For Course of Sl. No. 6, PUC or 10th Std Pass.

Duration: From sl. No. 1 to 5 : 1 Year and fee Rs. 65,000=00
From Sl. No. 6 to 8, duration 8 months and course fee RS. 35,000=00
From Sl. No 9 to 10, duration is Six months and fee Rs. 40,000=00

Application and prospectus can be obtained from the NIFT Bangalore on payment of Rs. 100=00 (by hand) and Rs. 150=00 (By Post) through DD/Bank challan drawn in favour of NIFT Bangalore.

The last date for receipt and submission of application is 25th Oct 2011.

SC category students of Karnataka with an annual family income of less than Rs. 2 Lakhs are fully sponsored by the Social Welfare department Bangalore, Government of Karnataka and also receive Rs. 500/- as monthly stipend.
