Bellary district of Karnataka assembly constituency election took place today. In this Karnataka state legislative election 80% of votes were recorded. This time recorded votes seems to be 22% greater than that of assembly election that held in 2008. Sriramalu of Barathiya Janthi Party (BJP) left this party and stood as independent MLA in this Karnataka assembly election 2011. Politicians competing in Bellary constituency were Kathilingappa for BJP, Ramprasad for Congress. Bellary constitency election results will be published on December 4 2011. The voting took place peacefully with tight security. No mischievous acts were done during polling process.
