If you are a beginner in the world of computer, it is really hard for you to recognize all the cables and ports especially if it is just your first time to unpack your personal computer unit. However, setting up a computer unit is just very easy to do; these are the best ways on how to setup your personal computer system.


Setting up doesn't need deep technical knowledge

Sometimes, new computer users think that it is really hard to set up a computer unit. They seem to take it as a very technical part of being a computer user. They should not be worried with that situation because all computer units have an instruction booklet to be followed.

This resource is actually a quick start guide which means created into most comprehensive manner from texts to images used, because computers are mostly sold by different countries. You might be asking yourself that there are different types, brands, and design of computers. You still don't have to be worried about, the setup and concept setting up the different parts of the computer is almost similar. 2. After making user of all the connections from and to your computer system, it is now time to plug in those power sources of the devices like the system unit, speaker, and monitor. Start powering your computer by pressing the power button mostly located at the top.

3. Expect that there are many other instructions that might be prompted. The computer is actually setting up the Windows Operating System to make it useful. You might be required by the system to enter the Windows product key, setting up date and time, and of course providing appropriate name and secure passwords for your Windows account.

4. If you think you might need to setup several computer units connected together, you should click the Custom Settings. However, you need to have an advanced knowledge about computer networking to be able for you to set this properly. Otherwise, just leave the settings default and continue with the installation.

5. You should now be on the part of registering the copy of your Windows and enabling other security features of it. Make sure that you have the product key of your operating system for you to continue with the installation. You also need to turn the automatic updates if you have an active Internet connection at your home.

4. Assuming that you have all set up and installed the important application software of your computer, it is now time to arrange everything on your desktop. To do this, try searching for the application icons of the software installed and create shortcut to desktop for you to open programs easier.

5. You can now change the default user name depending on your preference.

6. If you are sure that you have set up all the required hardware and software part of your computer, it is now time to connect the external hardware parts like scanners, headset, and printers which could be very useful for your work.

7. You also need to purchase an antivirus or anti malware software for you to protect your computer system from outside intruders when you connect to the Internet. Use the latest and updated antivirus software for the maximum protection of your computer.

8. It would still be better to setup up adobe flash plug-in. This is very useful on video streaming at YouTube and other offline video files.

Now that you already set up your computer system properly and up running, you can now enjoy yourself to the useful and entertaining uses of the computer especially on the Internet. Make yourself always productive in using your computer system. It would be better to have a computer technician at your side to assist you and give you an idea on how to setup your computer system.

True, paying for this service is also an option but if you want to acquaint yourself with your new machine then choose to set it up on your own. Keep a few bucks and learn new technical knowledge.
